Obtain A Repeat Prescription?

In the interest of safety and accuracy, prescription requests are not taken over the telephone. Our receptionists are instructed that they are not to take such requests.

If you need regular medication we provide a repeat prescription system, which allows you to have repeats of your medication, up to certain limits in numbers and time, without you having to see the doctor every time.

At present we need two working days’ notice for the production of a repeat prescription.

If you are unable to collect your repeat prescription in person, provided you supply a stamped addressed envelope, we will forward the prescription to your registered address when processed. Alternatively, your pharmacist may have a system of prescription collection from the surgery - please ask them for details.

Please make arrangements to collect repeat prescriptions during normal opening hours, ie Park and St Francis surgeries Monday to Friday 8.30am - 12 noon and St Francis Monday to Friday 1.30 - 6.00pm.
